We believe
GOD
We believe God is the creator of the universe. He is one God in three distinct Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He has eternally existed and has over the centuries made Himself known. God is characterized by love, holiness, grace and justice and is totally without sin. Genesis 1:1-27; Psalm 8:3-6; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14

JESUS
We believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, sent as Savior of and to the world. We believe in His deity, virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death on the cross, and physical resurrection from the grave. We believe He ascended to heaven and will one day return to take us home. Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:22-23; John 1:1-5 & 14; 1:10-30; Acts 1:9-11; Romans 1:3-4; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 1 Timothy 6:14-15; Titus 2:13; Hebrews 4:14-15

HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Christian and the Church; that He comforts, guides, equips, and enables for life and ministry. We believe He operates through the Word of God to convert the unsaved and empower the saved, seeking to bring us into Christ-likeness. John 16:7-13; Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 3:17; Ephesians 1:13 & 5:17-18

SIN
We believe that as human beings we are created in the image of God. However, because of our sin nature, we also believe that “all have sinned and fall short of God's glory.” Sin is disobedience to God's commands and by ourselves we are unable to live sinless. Genesis 1:27 & 3:22; Isaiah 53:6a & 59:1-2; Romans 3:23 & 6:23

SALVATION
We believe that salvation is God's free gift to us, but we must receive it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Salvation comes only through faith in the person and redeeming work of Jesus. It comes to us by God's grace. The process of salvation involves believing in Jesus as Savior, repenting of one's sins, confessing Jesus as Lord. That manifests in living a life characterized by His Lordship - obedience to His commands. Believers will never be perfect and will inevitably stumble at times due to our imperfect sin nature. But with saving Faith, our lives will show a pattern of obedience and godliness that will continue to improve throughout our time on earth. John 1:12 & 14:6; Acts 2:38; Romans 5:1 & 6:4, 23; Galatians 3:26-27; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5

ETERNITY
We believe that people were created by God to exist forever. As a result, we will either exist eternally separated from God by our sin and lack of Belief – condemned to Hell. Or eternally will reside with God through His grace and salvation through Christ. Heaven and Hell are real places. John 3:16-17 & 14:17; Romans 6:23 & 8:17-18; 1 Corinthians 2:7-9; Revelation 20:15

MARRIAGE & SEXUALITY
We believe marriage is the only legitimate and accepted sexual relationship. It is sanctioned by God, joining one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union. We believe that a person's gender is established by God. Genesis 2:24; Hebrews 13:4; 1 Corinthians 7:8-9; Matthew 19:5; Ephesians 5:31; Genesis 1:27; Psalm 139:13-16

SCRIPTURE
We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inerrant and inspired Word of God. It is the Final Authority for faith and life. The Bible reveals the heart and mind of God to us. It also judges the thoughts and intentions of our heart. It is used for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. Psalm 119:11 & 105; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21

BAPTISM
We believe salvation is by grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-9). That saving faith should include a desire to serve and obey God to the best of our ability. In obedience to Christ’s command, all who believe should be baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). Baptism is a God-ordained sign of our union with Christ and a public identification with His death and resurrection (Romans 6:3-4; Galatians 3:27). It does not save or provide forgiveness, but bears witness to the salvation God grants through faith (Acts 2:41; 8:36–38; 10:47–48). Therefore, baptism is an act of obedient discipleship that follows conversion and proclaims Jesus as Lord and Savior. While baptism ordinarily follows soon after conversion, lack of opportunity does not nullify genuine salvation. Legitimate circumstances may prevent baptism (death bed conversions, last second martyrs, etc.) however, if a Believer has the means and opportunity to be baptized, then they should consider it a commandment of Christ.
