My name is Byron Sheets. I am honored and blessed to be able to serve as an elder at GCC.

I have been married to my beautiful and faithful wife for 40 years.  

We both grew up in Middleton First Baptist Church as kids.  

We dated during high school and were married after April’s graduation.  

I actually did graduate but waited for her.

After 10 years of marriage, we were able to buy a farm north of town where we row crop farmed.  

During that time, I served as a deacon/elder at the Baptist church at a fairly young age.  Eventually God moved us to Eagle Christian Church for a few years until Canyon Springs Christian (a plant of Eagle) was established in Middleton.  

I was called to serve as an Elder at Canyon Springs for four years as it grew to 500 in the congregation.

April and I have four children, two boys and two girls with spouses we PROUDLY call our own.  

They have blessed us with ten amazing grandchildren and as the saying goes, “If we would have known grandchildren were this much fun we would have had them first.”

In 2021 we had the opportunity to sell our farm.  

After much prayer and consideration, God clearly answered our prayer.  

We sold the farm and He brought us to this wonderful place of Grangeville, Idaho. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU PRAY FOR!!
